IT Link celebrates two years of partnership with MicroDon

14,000 euros donated to two Epic Foundation associations: Télémaque and Carolina for Kibera

IT Link and microDON

IT Link France, a Digital Services Company specializing in connected systems, celebrates two years of partnership with MicroDon, an ESUS approved social enterprise (Entreprise Solidaire d'Utilitité Sociale) which offers innovative solutions to facilitate donations and solidarity commitments on a daily basis as well as in business. Wishing to carry out a solidarity project helping employees to project themselves into the future together, IT Link has been offering rounding up on salary since 1Er January 2021.

More than 80 donor employees and a contribution from IT Link: a whole solidarity ecosystem

For the past two years, 7,000 euros have been collected each year with a stable number of donors that exceeds 80 employees. For one euro given by the employee on his salary, IT Link donates 1 euro to the EPIC foundation, chosen to collect and donate 100% of donations to associations.

microDON, a platform connected to the company's payroll software

“The salary rounding offered by MicroDon, which is similar to cash rounding that is now well known, seemed to us to be the right way to carry out our solidarity commitment. Since their platform is connected to our payroll software, donating is easy for the employee and transparent for us. IT Link donates every donation from its employees to double the amounts collected.” welcomes Cécile Chopinet, IT Link Human Resources Director.

Employees have the choice of rounding their salary to the lower euro to donate the remaining cents to an association, or to donate more, between 1 and 20 euros. 93% of IT Link donors make this additional donation. The average monthly donation was 3.58 euros in 2022.

“IT Link is a particularly generous company, with the average number of donations exceeding the average observed among our 800 member companies. It is a quality, efficient partner that makes quick decisions and with whom the implementation was very easy.” testifies Anne Clément, Development Manager at MicroDon.

On the platform, the employee chooses the amount of his donation and the association he wishes to help, among the two selected by the company after a survey of employees: one French and one international.

Two associations supported: Télémaque in France, Carolina for Kibera in Kenya

At IT Link, we saw how lucky we were to get through the turmoil of the pandemic because of our high technology, and we decided to support equal opportunities and education. The Epic Foundation supporting 20 associations, selected for their impact and the excellence of their practices and helping disadvantaged youth, we chose it to collect and distribute our donations.” explains Cécile Chopinet.

Linkers were asked to choose two associations out of four proposed: two French and two foreign ones. One of each was selected: the French one Telemachus And the Kenyan Carolina for Kibera.

Télémaque supports middle school students, high school students, apprentices from modest backgrounds, and accompanies them from their 5th year to the bac, or even beyond, in order to encourage them to achieve their full potential thanks to a unique approach of dual mentoring: academic (support, support, visits to major schools) and professional (internship, CV, network) mentoring. With the support of both teachers and business mentors, the aim is to help them succeed in school and access higher education.

Carolina for Kibera provides holistic support to the 350,000 people who live in the Kibera slum in Kenya, one of the largest in Africa, where there is one teacher for every 85 students. Health care, clinic, maternity, nutrition center, nutrition center, education program, education program, development through sport, program to support girls to gain autonomy are part of its actions.

We are very happy to support IT Link in its solidarity operation. We appreciate his desire to help the most disadvantaged, and his involvement, which involves regular communication with employees about the actions carried out by each association thanks to their donations. ” testifies Jason Mousset, Development Manager France at Epic.

IT Link is committed to each association for 3 years. The company will also be interested in skilled sponsorship and one-off donations, formulas on which MicroDon is working.
