IT Link stands out as a strategic technological partner through its participation in the expedition Under Antarctica, a large-scale scientific mission, led by Heïdi Sevestre and Matthieu Tordeur, aimed at mapping Antarctic ice in order to refine climate prediction models.
At the heart of this adventure, the IT Link Group mobilizes its know-how in embedded systems, connectivity and software development to meet the requirements of an environment as hostile as Antarctica. Three technological solutions were specifically provided by the Group's teams to support the expedition:
- An embedded module, responsible for continuously supervising the operation of the ground penetrating radar, guaranteeing the reliability and quality of the data collected throughout the crossing.
- A mobile application, developed by the design office IT Link from Rennes, making it possible to monitor the status of the radar in real time and to detect possible malfunctions before they impact the mission.
- An accessible website, designed by Ciao, the IT Link Group brand specializing in digital accessibility, offering public tracking of shipments and promoting product data and content.
This project concretely illustrates the capacity ofIT Link to mobilize its technological expertise on complex projects in extreme environments, where the robustness, the connectivity And the trustworthiness are essential. It is fully in line with one of the Group's major commitments: put technological innovation at the service of a better understanding and protection of our planet.
