The theft of equipment within sensitive infrastructures requires the implementation of an end-to-end solution covering both the detection of incidents, their characterization as a “confirmed flight”, the mobilization of intervention teams, and the provision of information and tools allowing them to react effectively.

ASTAO Geoprotect is a solution for securing sensitive equipment and infrastructures capable of offering complete functional coverage:
- A tracker: hardware device to be attached to equipment at risk, autonomous in energy, capable of detecting movement, geolocating the object, and communicating all relevant information to an alert management platform.
- The Alert Management Platform: a server responsible for receiving and analyzing messages sent by trackers, and for triggering alerts to remote surveillance teams. The platform must have effective notification channels to guarantee a rapid reaction in the event of an incident (email, text message, voice call, etc.). It must also provide access to alerts and associated information to carry out operations to remove doubts, and to guide the response teams.
- The remote surveillance center: this service, provided 24 hours a day and 7 days a week, ensures the processing of alerts, to remove doubts and, if necessary, the mobilization of intervention teams when an alert is triggered.
