Urban planning must take into account the needs and constraints related to mobility. It is therefore imperative to understand the expectations and uses of populations in order to adapt the city in favor of better flow management and an optimized mobility experience.
IT Link has developed and integrated a cloud architecture to ensure the horizontal scalability of a multimodal urban traffic simulation game.
The “serious game” in question offers a mobility simulation to the public, with the aim of studying its behaviors and thus providing elements of decision support for urban planning. In order to open this simulation to as many people as possible and thus obtain a sufficiently representative sample of behaviors, IT Link supported its client in setting up a flexible architecture providing sufficient computing power to increase the scalability of the solution.
